We stayed there for 13 nights on half board. Very friendly hotel with five-star service. The staff does everything to make it comfortable. After an early arrival, we quickly got our room, for which thanks. On the day of departure, we could keep the room until 4 PM. Cozy reception with snug lounges. During the day, coffee with cardamom and dates are available for free, also flavored water. The room was well maintained daily, always fresh towels, plenty of toiletries (soap, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toothbrushes and paste, razor kits, hair clips...) Also coffee, tea, sugar, milk and bottles of water are sufficiently refilled every day. Breakfast buffet varied with eggs to order, cheeses, cold cuts, salads, fruit etc... Bakery products could be better but we are spoiled at home. Evening buffet is tasty; extensive salad bar; choice between fish chicken beef pork pasta rice variety with couscous potatoes... Tasty soups Limited choice for dessert The hotel is old but has charm although renovation is needed The pool area has potential but needs urgent attention and better maintenance Sunbeds available also free towel service There are night clubs in the hotel but our room was quiet Excellent location within four minutes walk from Manama Bus Terminal close by Manama Souq and walking distance from Financial Harbor Bahrain Bay WTC The Avenues

Moorish-style hotel - a bit frail on the edges. Bathroom requires upgrading with low water pressure and lukewarm hot water supply.
Okay for a couple of days
The area is downtown, near the Bahrain Gate and local souk.
For total chill and relaxation, I would recommend Seef or an area close to the Avenues Shopping Mall.

Great location. Food could have been better and alternative options would have been appreciated. Nice big rooms and friendly staff.

Great location. Rooms are large with a view of the city. A five-minute walk to city center. Gold City is across from the hotel. Next to that is the largest souk in the country. Parking is available. There’s a travel agent on-site. Restaurants on-site too, but there are many places to eat within walking distance.
